What is a Skylight?

Skylights are essentially sloped windows installed on the roof instead of on a wall. The natural light offered by a skylight is simply unbeatable. It's a feature that can really transform your home, or at the very least light up any room in your home.

Types of Skylights

Venting Skylights: It has glass that raises and lowers to allow in fresh air. They are available with either remote controls or manual operating. Units are available with rain sensors that will automatically close when moisture is detected.

Fixed Skylights: It has glass that is fixed in place and does not open or close. These are a common choice among homeowners because they are low cost and are considered the most leak-proof type of skylight you can install. 

Solar-powered Skylights: It is self-sufficient in operation with a built in solar cell and internal battery, meaning no wiring needs to be done. It operates by remote control and has built-in rain sensors that will automatically close the skylight when moisture is detected.
